The percussion is very nice indeed, but I dont really the sound of the bass synth (not deep enough for one and also too much unison/harmionics and reverb). Also, the strings need more variation (for my taste). -> keep percussion, tweak the sounds! Overall mixing to good though, my ears are definately not bleeding a little ;)
it's warm
feels like a summer breeze, or a tropical waterfall, or cool ice cream on a hot day....
in fact, that whistling sound reminds me a bit of will smith's summertime
maybe a bit less of bass guitar?

Why is there no base in the percussion?
do you DJ...at all?
...there is a bassdrum in those breaks... it's just not making your speakers pop... try adjusting your subwoofer...? but it's plenty clear in my Sony MDR-V700's and with my sub turned halfway up, so...
and also... as i said... the bassline sound didn't come out quite as throbby as i would have liked--this being a "work-in-progress"-- i suppose... i'm sure if i was spinning this through larger speakers, you'd hear that bass :P there's also no bassdrum in the 32-measures mix-in/mix-out sections, on purpose...
